The Rules of the Mölkky Game
Mölkky is a friendly and strategic Finnish skittles game, perfect for outdoor play. It consists of 12 skittles numbered from 1 to 12 and a throwing stick called the mölkky.
How to Play Mölkky:
The skittles are arranged in a tight triangle, with skittle 1 at the front. Players take turns throwing the mölkky to knock down the skittles. The goal is to reach exactly 50 points.
Scoring:
- If only one skittle falls, the player scores the number on it.
- If multiple skittles fall, the player scores one point for each skittle knocked down.
After each throw, the fallen skittles are set upright in the position where they landed, changing their arrangement for the next turn.
Specific Rules:
- If a player exceeds 50 points, their score is reduced to 25.
- If a player misses three consecutive throws, they are eliminated.
